The Cabin

• A double kayak (sit-on-top type) and a canoe with space for 2 adults and a child are included. Please remember to bring life jackets.

• The boats are located by the sea outside the boathouse. Directions to the boathouse can be found in the cabin.

• Outdoor storage/technical room for prams, bicycles, etc. There are also two sets of golf clubs (one women’s and one men’s) and paddles for the canoe and kayak.

• Ground-level terrace outside the kitchen with table and chairs (morning and early afternoon sun).

• Terrace outside the living room (partially covered) facing west with table and chairs. Gas grill available.

Smoking is not permitted. Pets are not allowed.

Check-in is 16.00 and Check-out is at 13.00.
Omega rents the cabin on weekdays, and late check-out on Sundays is not permitted.

Parking

Parking space for 3–4 cars directly outside the house.
For holiday homes rented out by Omega, charging electric vehicles using a standard outlet is not permitted, either outside the cabins or in parking garages, due to fire risk. Any resulting damage is the guest’s responsibility.

Surroundings

The house is located in beautiful Mølstrevåg in Sveio municipality, at the gateway to Ryvarden Cultural Lighthouse — where the ocean meets the sky. Close to the open sea to the west, you will find peace, inspiration, and memorable experiences.

There is a beautiful walking path leading to the lighthouse, as well as several developed and marked hiking trails (trail maps are available in the cabin).

The sheltered waters offer excellent paddling areas, making this coastal landscape both exciting and accessible.

Fishing with a rod is excellent from Ryvarden Lighthouse and at the Quarry (Steinbruddet). Both locations have benches and tables for relaxing. The Quarry can also be reached by kayak or canoe as it is located in sheltered waters.

Sveio town center is approximately 6 km via Paddevegen.

In Sveio town center, you will find a liquor store and various shops.
The house is located 18 km from Haugesund town center.

From Haugesund

Drive Fylkesvei 14 toward Sveio and Bergen. Turn left at Ekrene Industrial Area.
Follow signs to Mølstrevåg. When you reach Mølstrevågvegen, drive approximately 800 meters. The house is on the right-hand side of the road. Park and you have arrived.

Distance from Flotmyr Bus Terminal (Haugesund city center) to Mølstrevågvegen 73, Sveio is 18 km, approximately 22 minutes by car.

From Stavanger

Take the E39 highway toward Bergen. Turn left at the intersection toward Haukås in Sveio (toward town center). Drive Fylkesvei 47 to Ekrene Industrial Area, then turn right onto County Road 531.
Follow signs to Mølstrevåg. When you reach Mølstrevågvegen, drive approximately 800 meters. The house is on the right-hand side of the road. Park and you have arrived.

Distance from Stavanger to Mølstrevågvegen 73 is 103 km (approx. 1 hour 50 minutes by car).

From Bergen

Drive the E39 toward Stavanger and turn right at Haukås in Sveio, toward Haugesund and Sveio. Drive Fylkesvei 47 to Ekrene Industrial Area, then turn right onto County Road 531.

Follow signs to Mølstrevåg. When you reach Mølstrevågvegen, drive approximately 800 meters. The house is on the right-hand side of the road. Park and you have arrived.

Distance from Bergen city center to Mølstrevågvegen 73 is 126 km (approximately 2 hours 10 minutes).

Upon Departure

• Cleaning is carried out by our own cleaning staff between stays.
  Please leave the cabin tidy upon departure.

• Run the dishwasher and return clean dishes to the kitchen cabinets.

• Empty and clean the refrigerator and freezer.

• Clean the stove and kitchen surfaces.

• Make sure you collect all your belongings.

• Leave the cabin tidy.

• Close all windows.

• Lock all doors and return the key to the key box.

• Dispose of all waste.

• Plastic in the storage shed.

• Residual waste, food waste, paper, and glass outside the shed (waste sorting required).

• If the cleaning staff needs more than two hours to clean the cabin, the employee will be charged the additional cost.
