AACE International is a global organization for professionals working in cost engineering, planning, and project controls. Its annual conference brings together industry experts to share insights and explore the latest advancements in the field.
Representing Omega 365 Software at the event were Shane Butt, Vice President of Business Development, Bryan Wazbinski, Manager – Delivery & Operations, and analysts Kevin Marquez and Bradley Campbell, all based in the Houston office. They were joined by Graeme Erskine, Business Development Manager at Omega 365’s Calgary office.
Throughout the event, the team connected with professionals from across the United States and Canada, building new relationships and continuing conversations with familiar contacts.
“Our booth was in a strategic location near the coffee stations, and we saw a great amount of traffic, with many attendees stopping by to chat,” says Butt.
Omega 365 also gained additional visibility as the sponsor of Tuesday’s lunch, and through the team’s presentation titled “Working Smarter: Project Controls Enhanced with AI.” More than 30 attendees joined the session, which demonstrated how AI is being applied within the Omega 365 platform to support more efficient and intelligent project delivery. A lively Q&A followed, reflecting strong interest in the topic among industry professionals.
Teamwork played a key role throughout the conference. Each participant contributed their expertise, whether in client engagement, storytelling, or software demonstration.
“The team, Shane, Bryan, Kevin, Bradley, and I, worked seamlessly together, each bringing our individual skill sets to the table,” says Erskine. “From initial contact points and storytelling to software demo specialists, we complemented each other well and operated very fluidly as a team.”
Following successful participation in Anaheim this year, the team is already planning to attend next year’s conference in Las Vegas.
