New CISO to lead cybersecurity at Omega 365
Andriejus Koleinikovas has been appointed Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Omega 365. Alongside his role as Cloud Manager, he will lead the company's cybersecurity efforts, helping to further develop security across cloud services, internal infrastructure, and software delivery.

Based at Omega 365's headquarters in Ølensvåg, Andriejus has played a key role in developing secure cloud services and maintaining stable, reliable cloud operations. In his new role as CISO, he will continue working closely with specialist teams across the organization to strengthen security, ensure compliance, and support the continued development of secure digital services.
Building security into everything we do
As Cloud Manager, Andriejus is responsible for developing, reviewing, and implementing Omega 365's cybersecurity policies across internal infrastructure and the cloud platform. Together with the Cloud team, he helps ensure customers have a secure and reliable foundation for their digital solutions.
“Managing cybersecurity is a team effort,” says Andriejus. “The Cloud team works closely with IT Support, Operations, SecOps, and our development teams to implement security throughout our internal environments, software solutions and customer cloud deployments. Close collaboration across all teams is essential to ensuring strong cybersecurity practices are part of everything we do.”
Security is everyone's responsibility
One of Andriejus' priorities as CISO is to strengthen security awareness across the organization while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and customer expectations.
“Cybersecurity is not limited to a single team,” he explains. “It is embedded in every stage of our work, from development and testing to deployment, operations, and platform management. By working together, following documented policies and procedures, regularly assessing risks and responding quickly to emerging threats, we build a stronger and more resilient organization.”
Creating confidence for customers
Cybersecurity relies on close collaboration between specialists across Cloud, IT, Operations, SecOps, and Development. Together, these teams work to maintain secure systems, continuously improve security practices, and respond to an evolving threat landscape.
“For customers, cybersecurity is about confidence,” says Andriejus. “When customers choose Omega 365, they should know their data is protected, securely stored, and managed according to industry best practices. Strong cybersecurity allows customers to focus on delivering successful projects, knowing they have a secure and trusted platform behind them.”
Andriejus will continue in his role as Cloud Manager while serving as CISO, working across the organization to further develop Omega 365's cybersecurity capabilities and support the secure delivery of software and cloud services.
