Omega 365 Software is experiencing significant growth in Asia, with rising activity among both new and existing customers. The Omega 365 Software team participated in Asia Pacific Maritime (APM) and Asia Digital Construction (ADC).

During the events, over the course of two weeks, the team connected with customers, new contacts, and industry peers from across the maritime, offshore, and construction sectors, while also identifying emerging opportunities for Omega 365 within defense, government, and industrial operations. Discussions focused on topics such as project execution, data quality, and the need for improved control in complex project portfolios. A key takeaway was the growing emphasis on digitalization and leveraging data to support informed decision-making.

“Events like APM and DCA highlight how the industry is developing. There is increasing interest in solutions that enable better decisions and more efficient project execution,” says Robin Kah Wee Tan, General Manager, Omega 365 Asia.

CEO of Omega 365 Software, Jan Christian Brataas, and colleagues also met representatives from the Norwegian Embassy and Innovation Norway during APM. Both, based in the same building in Singapore, maintain close contact with Omega 365 and actively support Norwegian companies operating in the region.

Building a strong local presence

“Over the past three years, we have seen a clear shift in Singapore, from supporting Norwegian-led projects to establishing a solid local and regional customer base,” Brataas.

This progress reflects the consistent efforts of the Singapore office, led by Robin Kah Wee Tan. The team has developed a strong footprint across Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, China, South Korea, and Qatar, working closely with customers on project execution, document control, and commissioning.

“This is also evident in our collaboration with companies such as Seatrium and QatarEnergy, where we see increasing demand for solutions that improve efficiency and provide better visibility across project phases,” Brataas adds.

The transition toward a more locally driven business has also expanded the range of use cases, with customers applying Omega 365 across all stages of the project lifecycle, from early planning through to completion and into operation.

Scaling with continued demand

The heightened activity in Asia is now translating into a growing pipeline of opportunities, alongside deeper engagement with existing customers.

A stronger local presence, combined with closer day-to-day collaboration, is driving repeat business and sustained demand across several markets in the region.

“To support this momentum, Omega 365 in Singapore is expanding both its team and office capacity in 2026 and 2027,” Robin Kah Wee Tan adds.

“Singapore plays a key role as a regional hub for Omega 365 Software in Asia, both as a base for operations and as a meeting point for customers and partners. The progress in recent years reflects a clear direction, with steady growth and increasing demand across the region,” Brataas concludes.
