This position provides offshore HSE support to exploration drilling activities,contractor safety and environmental management systems. This role is intended to ensure implementation of Safety Standards, verify compliance with Contractor management systems, as well as strengthen and develop a desired safety culture.

-Work on an offshore drilling rig/facility to serve as a regulatory and internal requirement subject matter expert to support implementation and compliance.
-Assist with the implementation of Safety and Environmental Management System Program
-Contribute to maintain a continuous HSE focus and risk management in daily drilling activities
-Be a culture motivator on best practices across the installations and strive for improved and shared learning with regards to best practices and incidents.
-Support line management and be a promoter and supervisor for the line’s role models for the crew, encourage to a proactive and positive safe behavior in their daily work.
-Facilitate Operator regulatory and internal reporting of HSE and other reportable incidents
-Actively participate in experience transfer (lessons learned) from incidents at various installations and shifts, across the organization
-Participate in local incident or near miss investigations occurring on the rig or support vessels
-Provide when requested by Drilling Supervisor quality review investigation reports Verify effective closure of follow-up audit or inspection action items
-Conduct various workplace audits and self-assessments
-Maintain records of safety performances, KPIs, and records for regulatory reporting purposes
-Provide support for internal and external audits

-Knowledge of industry best practices and regulatory requirements
-Experience as an HSE advisor for similar operations
-Competence in incident investigation and root cause analysis methodologies
-Ability to build strong relationships with individuals at all levels of the offshore organization
-Excellent communication & decision-making skills
-Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills

6+ months (rotation schedule)
