Assignment Description
- Support team members within technical safety discipline in the project. (knowledge/experience with F&G detection, area classification, passive fire protection, design accidental loads etc.)
- Planning, coordinating and monitoring the activities related to fulfilment of HSE contractual design requirements and relevant activities in process for design validation
- Ensuring that HSE requirements and design are attended to in the engineering organisation
- Ensuring HSE risks are identified and assessed, and that preventive measures are implemented when required
- Identifying external interface HSE requirements, within area of responsibility, and supply timely information on the agreed quality
- Responsible for the coordination of the risk analysis (third party activities) i.e. Total Risk Analysis, contribution to risk and emergency preparedness analyses, HAZIDs, HAZOPs, Installation risk analyses, Installation HAZIDs, Environmental flow analyses, DAL evaluations and PFP optimization studies, DAL specification and HSE Design Follow-up plan
- Ensure that the results of the analyses are included in the design and coordinated towards all the influenced parties in the project.
- HSE management system; prepare, implement and maintain the HSE design plan and the HSE Design Follow-up system including the ALARP register.
- Implement the analysis results into relevant documents, e.g. Design Accidental Load Specification, Fire and Explosion Strategy (FES) and Escape, Evacuation and Rescue Strategy (EERS).
- Ensure follow-up of all identified risk reduction measure in the ALARP register.
- Shall be familiar with applicable statutory requirements, laws, rules and regulations
- Shall encourage to and seek improvements to the project cost and schedule

Qualifications Required
- Bachelor/Master or equivalent education.
- Extensive experience with technical safety discipline in EPC projects.
- Extensive experience with offshore related HSE requirements during EPC phase.
- Experience with DNVGL spec regime.
- Experience with government body interface.
- Ability to work independently and thorough as well as ability to work in team
- Multidiscipline understanding
- Good communication skills
- Have a high loyalty to deadline and quality requirements
- Be proactive, seeking advice and share own experiences with others
- Communicate well in English – both oral and in writing
