Bakery Prep Assistant
Schedule: 5:00 AM – 100 PM
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist in preparing trays of products for baking.
Load and monitor baking ovens under the Senior Baker’s supervision.
Apply finishing touches (e.g., toppings, glazing) as required.
Restock baked goods at the retail display as needed.
Support cleaning of baking tools, trays, and ovens.
Monitor inventory of items and report low stock levels.
Assist in pre-staging the next day’s batch schedule.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the production area.
Follow all food safety and hygiene standards during baking operations.
Support the Senior Baker in day-to-day tasks to ensure efficient production.
Requirements
Basic knowledge of food handling and hygiene.
Ability to follow production plans and instructions.
Physical stamina for standing and lifting (early morning/night shifts).
Attention to detail and organization.
