Bakery Prep Assistant

Schedule: 5:00 AM – 100 PM

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing trays of products for baking.

• Load and monitor baking ovens under the Senior Baker’s supervision.

• Apply finishing touches (e.g., toppings, glazing) as required.

• Restock baked goods at the retail display as needed.

• Support cleaning of baking tools, trays, and ovens.

• Monitor inventory of items and report low stock levels.

• Assist in pre-staging the next day’s batch schedule.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the production area.

• Follow all food safety and hygiene standards during baking operations.

• Support the Senior Baker in day-to-day tasks to ensure efficient production.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of food handling and hygiene.

• Ability to follow production plans and instructions.

• Physical stamina for standing and lifting (early morning/night shifts).

• Attention to detail and organization.
