Assignment Description

Package Responsible Engineer (PRE) is the technical lead for specific equipment packages in large projects. They ensure that design, procurement, manufacturing, testing, and delivery of equipment (like compressors, pumps, turbines, pressure vessels, or cranes) meet project requirements, industry standards, and client expectations

• Prepare and perform bid clarification meeting (BCM) and kick off meeting if necessary.

• Create package follow up together with package buyer and MC engineer.

• Create and follow up package distribution matrix for supplier documentation and send the matrix to Document Control.

• Take responsibility forfollow-up work for the procurement package.

• Follow up and make sure Final Documentation for the scope of work is delivered at agreed date.

• Responsible for ensuring that the work is performed according to relevant instructions / procedures and in accordance with the contract. 

Qualifications

• Masters or bachelor degree in mechanical engineering

• Long experience, 7 to 12 years, within offshore related projects

• High knowledge of rotating equipent, pumps and compressors, chemical injection skids, other multidiscipline packaged deliveries.

• Good knowlegde of Static equipment

• Good knowledge of standards

• Required Certificates: 

• Offshore certificate and medical certificate
