Junior Engineer (Marine/Mechanical Engineering)

Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor dredging equipment safely and efficiently.

• Inspect and maintain machinery to ensure optimal performance.

• Adjust operations based on environmental conditions and project specs.

• Perform preventive service and repair mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical issues.

• Maintain logs, reports, and documentation of equipment and operations.

• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

• Supervise, train, and guide dredging crew members.

• Collaborate to align operations with project schedules and budgets.

• Track performance metrics and propose process improvements.

• Provide technical solutions and prepare reports on operations and challenges.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marine, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.

• 3+ years in dredging operations or marine engineering.

• Strong knowledge of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems.

• Proven troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.

• Experience in supervising and training teams.

• Familiarity with dredging-related environmental and safety regulations.

• Strong communication and reporting abilities.
