Assignment Description
We are looking to strengthen the IT deliveries in the Valhall PWP-Fenris development project and are looking for an ambitious Data Engineer with experience related to integration development.
From an IT perspective the role requires a strong interest in data and data science topics.
This role will work in a complex landscape to enhance data delivery across diverse and specialized systems.
There is also a need to develop solutions for assessing and monitoring data quality.
Domain experience and knowledge of offshore processes, requirements and systems in combination with IT competence is a strong advantage, as well as experience from Oil & Gas EPC projects.
Ensure professional services provided to projects
Responsible for data integration activities in projects you are allocated to
Responsible for customer communication, alignment and demand management
Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, industry and company specifications
Drive adoption of specifications, processes, and ways of working towards area of responsibility
Responsible of the adoption of clients strategy and practices, as well as the project strategy
Qualifications
Minimum bachelor's degree
Engineering background is an advantage
2-5 years of relevant experience
Experience with some of the following technologies: T-SQL, Azure Data Factory, REST API, C#, React, data modelling, Power BI (DAX, semantic models, performance optimization)
Good understanding of IT-related processes, requirements, and systems
Experience and understanding of LCI information/data (management, use and needs)
Experience and knowledge may replace formal education
Demonstrate conceptual understanding of IT solutions and their purpose
Multidiscipline understanding
Regulatory competence for the petroleum industry
Fluent in Norwegian language, written and spoken
Well above average skills in English, written and spoken
Structured sand analytic with problem solving skills
Able to adapt communication style to different audiences and working styles, and create constructive dialogue in diverse teams
Strong collaboration skills
Open minded team player with ability to influence, share knowledge and interface with a wide range of teams / disciplines / strategic partners
Proactive, takes initiative, drives work forward
Flexible and adaptable to handle changing priorities and new tasks
