General Purpose Operator

Responsibilities:

• Maintain teamwork and communicate professionally with colleagues and supervisors.

• Conduct accurate work handovers to ensure continuity of operations.

• Inspect, prepare, sling, rig, and secure loads for safe lifting operations.

• Operate and maintain lifting, rigging, and slinging equipment safely.

• Direct and position loads using approved hand signals and radio communication.

• Prepare, clean and restore equipment and work areas for maintenance and coating activities.

• Inspect tools and equipment before and after use, reporting any defects immediately.

• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and report hazards, incidents, and unsafe conditions.

• Follow environmental procedures by controlling waste, preventing pollution, and managing material disposal correctly.

• Participate in emergency response activities and drills in accordance with established procedures.

Requirements:

• Certification as per STCW Reg A II/5 or equivalent. (Required)

• Over 2 years’ experience in a deck capacity offshore or overall similar offshore field.

• Rigging and Lifting Certified.

• Banksman Slinger Certified.

• Medically fit according to the company GEMS instruction health requirements to conduct work offshore
