Disc golf and teambuilding in Ålesund

As part of the Omega 365 Advantage program, a group of colleagues traveled to the Norwegian town of Ålesund for a weekend of disc golf and city exploration. Taking place from August 25th to 27th, the event offered both sporting excitement and delicious food.

Ålesund, a charming city nestled amidst mountains and coastal views, created an ideal atmosphere. While many enjoyed the town, other participants took part in spirited rounds of disc golf on Saturday and Sunday. Disc golf is an emerging sport that blends elements of traditional golf with the enjoyment of throwing a frisbee. The objective is to navigate the course with the fewest throws, targeting metal baskets with hanging chains that catch the frisbee. During the trip, the group stayed at Hotel Brosundet, situated in the heart of the town. The hotel's rich history and outstanding service further enhanced the overall charm of the experience. 

On Friday evening, the group dined at XL Diner. Their weekend culinary adventure continued on Saturday with a visit to Restaurant Apotekergata No. 5, where many described their meal as one of the best they've ever had.

While the visit to Ålesund included both disc golf and fine dining, it was also a complete experience of bonding and adventure. The comfortable accommodations and excellent service elevated the weekend, and the team departed with new memories and strengthened camaraderie.
