Ever wondered what Omegas' invaluable "techies" are up to? Now you can visit Omega's AppFrame Developer Network site, where Omega's Systems Developers and Systems Engineers post all their latest news, to find out!

While Panorama, Omega's online employee magazine, will keep you up to date with general Omega news of relevance to our team, those of you with additional interest in developments within technology can now pay a visit to developer.appframe.com.

Omega's Technology & Products Manager, Johnny Vik, and his team of willing contributors have set up the new site to inform interested parties about Omega's AppFrame technology.

"Developer.appframe.com is designed to share information regarding AppFrame functionality, plans for future developments and give tips on how to use the existing technology," says Vik.

"The tone of the site is relaxed and informative and less formal than some of our other internal communication channels. Included on the site are blogs from some of Omega's developers, which offer valuable tips and interesting insights into working life, delivered in their own personal styles."

The site currently offers a variety of articles including technology tips, reports on the implementation of various technologies in projects, links to useful resources, as well as a wide range of useful downloads.

The technology team will also use the site to present Web Casts on a regular basis. Developers and other interested parties are encouraged to connect to the web casts in order to stay up to date with all that is happening in the AppFrame Developer "universe".

The first webcasts were presented on developer.appframe.com on 3 May to an audience of over 20 team members from locations as far afield as Houston, Ølen, Ølensvåg, Stavanger, Klaipeda and Singapore.
