Azule Energy has more than 800 employees and is now Angola’s largest independent equity producer of oil and gas.

By merging the assets and workforces of bp and ENI in Angola, Azule Energy has emerged as a distinct, integrated energy company. The company boasts over 800 employees and currently holds the position of being the largest independent equity producer of oil and gas in Angola. Trygve Ålbotsjord, Department Manager at Omega 365 Solutions in Stavanger, is overseeing the new agreement with Azule Energy.

“bp has utilized the Pims Completions Management module, which is why Azule Energy took an interest. Being a recently established company, they were also curious about demonstrations of other Pims modules, and in the end, they opted to incorporate ten of these modules into their operations.”

The contract scope includes the provision of Pims Completion Management, Document Control, Cost Management, Management of Change, Query Management, Preparation and Execution system, Exemption, Non-Conformance & Concession / Deviation Request, Action Tracking, Interface Management, ETP Deviation Request, Non-Engineering Deviation Request, Risk Management and Vulnerability Management.

Trygve Ålbotsjord, Department Manager at Omega 365 Solutions in Stavanger, is pleased with the agreement with Azule Energy.

Trygve is eagerly preparing for the tasks ahead, expressing, “This is the first contract for which I am responsible across all stages of the contractual process, from the initial phases to implementation and beyond. Therefore, it is important for me to have good supporters in Omega 365. I have already received great help from colleagues in Lithuania and Norway for everything from product presentations to contract work. Looking ahead, over 15 Omega 365 employees will be involved in the implementation process.”
