Takes on the challenge of Stoltzekleiven Opp

A group of employees from Omega 365 in Bergen, Norway, recently took part in the annual Stoltzekleiven Opp, which is said to be the world's steepest race, organized by Varegg, a local sports club in Bergen.

Held each September, this event sees participants ascending Stoltzekleiven, a path with approximately 800 steps. The trail offers panoramic views of Bergen and is one of the city’s most popular hiking routes. 

Stoltzen is a well-known race in Bergen, attracting both competitive individuals and those seeking personal challenges, and it provides a demanding route.

“Stoltzekleiven Opp challenges us physically and mentally. It's also a way to introduce Omega 365 to the community, as we're featured in the Stoltzen database alongside other companies,” says Øyvind Svenning Berge, System Engineer at Omega 365 Solutions in Bergen. 

On race day, the atmosphere was lively, despite Bergen's unpredictable weather. Impressively, nearly all 19 Omega 365 participants surpassed their personal records, leaving the team delighted with their achievements.  

“Plans for next year's race are already underway,” concluded Øyvind.
