Omega 365 Singapore’s Pims team excels in the FLNG GIMI project at Seatrium in the Benoi Yard in Singapore. The team’s adept utilization of Pims CMS software has left an impression on the client, Golar LNG. Project leader, Aldwin Arcega, introduces us to the team that has impressed Singapore.

Seatrium, in the Benoi Yard in Singapore, has witnessed commendable progress in the FLNG GIMI project. The project is a significant undertaking in the field of floating liquefied natural gas (FLNG) technology. This involves the conversion of the GIMI vessel into an advanced FLNG facility that will be capable of extracting, processing, liquefying, and storing natural gas at sea. Once completed, the GIMI vessel, now transformed into the GOLAR FLNG GIMI, will operate as a mobile LNG production unit, offering a flexible and efficient solution for offshore gas production.

This exciting project is spearheaded by the Pims CMS team, under the leadership of Aldwin Aecega. With the assistance of a highly skilled group of professionals, including Esa Putri Permata Hati, Honey Kyaw, Abu Sayed Khan, Ye Yint Aung, Soe Moe Oo, Annamalai Naravanaraja, Mohammad Billal Hossain, Lin Htut, and Tin Thun Aung, the team has effectively utilized the Pims CMS software. Their collective efforts have not only ensured efficient project execution but have also garnered high praise from the client, Golar LNG, who works with designing and operating marine infrastructure that turns natural gas into LNG. 

Aldwin Gonzales Arcega, a dynamic leader from Omega 365 Singapore, began his journey as a one-man team in the Pims CMS department. Through his exceptional leadership and strategic initiatives, he successfully expanded his team and consistently impressed clients with top-notch results. Aldwin's dedication to excellence and passion for his work enabled him to handpick skilled professionals who shared his vision. Esa Putri Permata Hati, with her expertise in project handovers, has played a crucial role in ensuring seamless transitions between project stages using the Pims CMS software. Hati's [MJ1] effective coordination and meticulous attention to detail have facilitated efficient communication and collaboration among team members, further enhancing project outcomes.

Honey Kyaw's contribution in assisting with instrument-related tasks and raising RFIs (Requisitions for Inspection) has been invaluable. Kyaw's proficiency and dedication have optimized instrument functions, and her ability to promptly raise RFIs has streamlined project management and facilitated timely issue resolution.

Abu Sayed Khan's support in the EX (Explosion Proof) department, along with his assistance in drawing uploads, has played a pivotal role in maintaining project momentum. Khan’s meticulous approach and expertise have not only ensured accurate documentation but also facilitated seamless coordination with other project teams, resulting in enhanced project efficiency.

The generation of comprehensive CTP (Commissioning Test Procedure) Documentation using the Pims function has been expertly handled by Ye Yint Aung. With a keen eye for detail and a comprehensive understanding of project requirements, Yint's dedication in producing accurate documentation has been an invaluable asset to the successful execution of the FLNG GIMI Project.

The generation of check sheets, a critical aspect of the project, has been efficiently handled by Lin Htut and Tin Aung. Their swift and precise work in generating these checklists has significantly enhanced project productivity and quality control measures, further reinforcing the team's commitment to excellence.
